Same crew.
Same trucks.
Same number.
Rig 47 started with one truck, one master plumber, and a phone number painted on the tailgate. Thirty-seven years later we run three trucks and six plumbers — and that same number still rings to a person who can actually fix your problem.
One truck, one promise.
Earl Whitfield bought a used Ford and his master's license in 1989 and worked the east side of Atlanta alone for a decade. He painted "(404) 555-1947" on the door and made one rule: the price you're quoted is the price you pay.
His daughter Carla runs dispatch now. Carter — who started as Earl's apprentice in 2006 — runs the crew. We added the second truck when the calls outgrew one, the third when they outgrew two. We've never bought a franchise, never run a call center, and never raised a quote between the driveway and the door.
We turn down more work than we take, because a two-person crew that knows every job beats a fleet of strangers every time. Most of our work still comes the way it did in 1989 — a neighbor handing our card to a neighbor.
Four rules we don't bend.
Quote = invoice. Always written, always signed first.
Every truck has a licensed master plumber. No "techs."
A real person picks up, day or night. No phone tree.
Broom-clean, every time. Drywall partner on call.
